At the Tourist Information in Hoek van Holland, located at Stationsweg 11, the following walking routes are available:
- The Sea Heroes Route (3 km, return 7 km): This walk (Zeeheldenroute) takes you through forest and dunes, marked by distinctive mushrooms and posts with red tops. Each mushroom tells a story that recalls the area’s maritime history. The route starts at the Tourist Information on Stationsweg and ends at the beach.
- The Historical Route Hoek van Holland (7.5 km): This circular walk takes you through the charming village and surrounding area of Hoek van Holland. Along the way, you’ll encounter various interesting sights, such as the Fort, the Pier, and the Troposcatter. The route starts and ends at the Tourist Information on Stationsweg. - The Vineta Loop (8.5 km): This route (Ommetje Vineta) loops around the Vinetaduin, marked by route panels and posts with a lizard. The walk leads you through beautiful spots with unique nature and is particularly interesting for all ages due to its rich war history. The route starts and ends at the Tourist Information.

At the Tourist Information in Hoek van Holland, located at Stationsweg 11, the following cycling routes are available:
- The Dunes and Gardens (20 km): This cycling route takes you through the dunes along the Dutch coast, through Monster and the Westland horticultural area. The last part of the route brings you to the Staelduinse Forest.
- Glass City (25 km): Discover the Nieuwe Waterweg, the Berghaven, and the beach with this cycling route, before heading toward the Staelduinse Forest. The route then leads you through the horticultural area of the Westland near Naaldwijk and ‘s-Gravenzande.
- Along the Traces of the Atlantic Wall (30 km): This cycling route introduces you to the many remnants of World War II and the Atlantic Wall that are still present in and around Hoek van Holland.
Hoek van Holland is also a stop on the LF Kustroute, from Cadzand-Bad at the Belgian border to Bad Nieuweschans, and the LF Maasroute. It is also the start or finish point of two major international cycling routes:
- The Rijn cycle route (EuroVelo 15): One of the most popular international cycling routes, the Rhine Cycle Route begins at the source of the Rhine in Switzerland and passes through Germany and France, ending in Hoek van Holland. Along the way, you’ll experience Europe's rich history, its culinary specialties, and varied landscapes.
- The Maas cycle route ((EuroVelo 19): From the Langres Plateau to Rotterdam and Hoek van Holland, this route lets you discover the Maas River like never before. You’ll cycle through three countries (France, Belgium, and the Netherlands), with 30 stages and 1052 km of marked paths. Along the way, you'll explore dozens of fascinating cities and villages.
