If you are an Orientation Year Student, and you want to pick up your Orientation Year Visa (Highly skilled migrant visa does not count) or an entrepreneur that has been facilitated by Rotterdam Partners, please contact the front desk for an appointment.

Steps before making an appointment:

  • You can only register in the municipality of Rotterdam

    If you have an address in another municipality, please schedule an appointment at your respective city hall. Normally you can also register for Schiedam, but that is temporarily not possible. Capelle aan den IJssel and Vlaardingen are not part of Rotterdam.

  • Please ensure that you are eligible to schedule an appointment.

    Click here to see a full list of the groups that can make use of the one-stop-shop. If you do not fall under one of these groups, please schedule an appointment at city hall. Your appointment can be cancelled by us if you do not fall under our target groups.

  • You need to print out and bring a number of documents to your appointment.

  • Appointments can only be scheduled on our website

Please note that you cannot:

  • change your address at the Rotterdam International Center
  • register at the Rotterdam International Center as a Non-Resident (RNI), please click here if you want to register as a non-resident.
  • hand in missing documents such as birth or marriage certificates, please schedule an appointment online or call +31 (0)10-2671625
  • Please be aware that rental contracts/tenancy agreements with dates in the future or older than three months will not be accepted.
  • Certain neighbourhoods in Rotterdam require a housing permit (huisvestingsvergunning or HVV). This means that the tenant (in this case you) needs permission to live in a rental house in these areas. To find a full overview of the streets that require a housing permit, click here.
